Sure, I know, it was 8 or 9 years ago, a lifetime in showbiz.







This offbeat crime drama, a wobbly mix of comedy and sleuthing, punched above its preview weight when it popped up in 2010 because it was written and created by Howard Overman, the man behind Misfits.

But at the last minute, she dumps the husband and stays in town.



Moonlighting is the template for this chalk and cheese formula but Vexed, despite the best efforts of Stephens and new girl Miranda Raison original star Lucy Punch has mysteriously vanished , never comes close to that kind of chemistry.

In the show's defense, a good chunk of commenters on The Art Desk review did not agree to a majority of claims made by the outlet, while those who were on the same wavelength as the author were in the minority.
